Hello! I'm Mrs Murals aka Ellie Johnson and I live in Plymouth, Devon, UK. I studied Fine Art full-time for five years at College and University, graduating with a Foundation Diploma and a Bachelor of the Arts Degree with Honours. Throughout my education I always thought 'outside the box' and (with permission) I sketched on walls. I then spent time travelling and working abroad, immersing myself in different cultures and seeing the beauty of this planet. I brought that inspiration back with me, then as soon as I was able to I began painting walls for fun. I decided to set up my own business when I was made redundant from my office job in 2018 and I'm lucky enough to say it has been successful from the very beginning! I have since worked on a variety of exciting projects for homes and businesses, on both internal and external walls.

In February 2024 I became a proud winner of the South West Business and Community Awards "Solo Entrepreneur of the Year".

I thoroughly enjoy bringing brightness into people's spaces through my art. The recent pandemic has made me even more passionate about helping others, so I've done my best to lift spirits with my art where I can. I'm very eco-conscious and do my best to work ethically, sustainably and environmentally friendly wherever and however I can.
